About Us

Bream Bay Merchants began to trade in September 2005 at 15 Kepa Road Ruakaka, after John Layton (owner) realised the potential in the area for a General Merchant. A few months later his wife Wendy joined him.
Our motto “ where nothing is a problem” where the people of Bream Bay get great service at a competitive price.
In 2008 we joined Buildlink a coop of independent operators, which gave us the opportunity to obtain a greater range of products from our country’s major suppliers.
In September 2008 due to growth moved to a bigger site on the corner of Sime & Kepa road Ruakaka.
